1. Gautamiputra Satakarni was the 23rd ruler of Satavahana dynasty
2. He was the greatest ruler among the Satavahana rulers
3. He defeated Kshatrapas and annexed their regions to his empire
4. He conquered Anupa, Assaka, Vidarbha, Aparanta, Kuntala, Kurka and annexed to his kingdom.
5. His empire comprised the Godavari region, Gujarat, Malwa, Konkan, Kuntala and Kathiawar.
6. His empire expanded from Arabian Sea in the west to Rajputana in the North and Bay of Bengal in the East to Cuddalore in the South.
8. The Saka king Nahapana was defeated by Gautamiputra Satakarni.
9. The coins of Gautami Putra Satakarni were found at Kadalur and Jogil Thambi
10. The inscription which says about the matrimonial relations between Gautami Putra Satakarni and Rudradamana is Kanheri Inscription.
