Jaya Jaya Hey Telangana Janani Jayakethanam is the official state song of the newly formed Indian State of Telangana. It is composed by  Dr.Ande Yellaiah Sri.

            Ande Sri (born on 18-07-1961)  Rebarthi village near Jangaon in Warangal district of Telangana. Ande Sri grew up as an orphan and did not have any formal education. He has won the Nandi award and Best lyric writer for the Bhojpuri film Ganga (2006).The writer took seven years to compose 12 stanzas, but only four have been selected as the state song for Telangana state of India. Kakatiya University conferred him an honorary doctorate for his contribution as a lyricist.
